How we work

Openness and responsibility: what is important to know before coming

Hanaka is a place for Your Practice and inner exploration. We do not strive to give a person ready-made answers and do not promise a predetermined result: we create conditions for inner transformation… Here everyone can safely explore, get to know their inner world deeper and gradually reveal their Potential.

Everyone has their own inner process. Sometimes changes are felt immediately, sometimes – after a while… Stability, clarity and depth come first of all through regular practice — since each person has their own pace and circumstances.

We turn to ancient meditation traditions, as well as to modern methods that help explore the work of our body, energy and consciousness and bring them into balance and harmony.

Nevertheless, not all practices and not in all cases can replace medical or psychological help for You. If You are in a state of acute crisis, experiencing a severe loss, serious illness or other condition requiring more serious professional support, we recommend first of all turning to an appropriate specialist.

The practice can be continued when it becomes a pillar and support on the Path — and not an additional “problem”.

Freedom of choice

The attitude of a mature practitioner is accepting responsibility for their choice, involvement and rhythm of classes. No one will force You to do anything…

In any practice you can stop, take a pause or refuse the offered exercise. There is no need here to meet internal or external “expectations”. Focus, first of all, on the inner sense of comfort and clarity. The practice that suits You will reveal exactly these qualities in You (although one cannot deny the difficult moments through which Your body and psyche may pass in the process of transformation)…

You can come to one meeting, — to try…

You can come to classes from time to time – at the call of the soul, according to possibilities, or make visiting Hanaka a part of your regular practice — freedom of choice always remains with you.

Even if You visit Hanaka for some time, but then for any reason stop doing so – no one will bother You, “lure” You, or demand to continue the path with us.

About the space of Hanaka

Hanaka exists thanks to the people who come here and support this space. The contribution of participants (payment for classes, or tickets to events) is directed to the maintenance of the house, organizing programs and inviting facilitators.

There is no mandatory membership, dues or need to belong to anything here. You can just come, try the practice, feel the “atmosphere” and decide whether they suit You..

And if during the practice, or after it you have questions, doubts or something turned out to be not easy for you — please, tell us about it. You can contact the administrator or the facilitator (personally, immediately – after the practice, or in writing – later, if You have a question). For us, a live dialogue is more important than misunderstanding or a silent departure.

We are for open and respectful communication.
